Phonetic Reading with Silent Elephant “e”® Return Policy
Phonetic Reading with Silent Elephant “e”® “Show us the Magic” return and refund policy:
To receive a full refund for your Phonetic Reading with Silent Elephant “e”® purchase, you need to have taught using Phonetic Reading with Silent Elephant “e”® for 8 weeks. You need to give the program a chance to let it show how different it is for all children and how successful your children will be whether they have learning differences or not. Within 8 weeks, you will see the difference.
To ensure that you’ve given the program time to work its magic, you need to:
· Have taught with Phonetic Reading with Silent Elephant “e”® for no less than 2 times/week for an hour each session and for 8 weeks. (10 weeks from purchase date) You may do 4 times/week for a half hour each session for 8 weeks.
· Submit completed assessments from Parts 1 and 2 (Phonemic Awareness Assessment, Letter Names and Letter Sounds Assessments, Word Recognition Assessment, Rhyming Assessment, San Diego Quick Assessment and the Oral Reading Inventory Assessment) for your children with their scores.
· Submit your notes on each lesson completed in Part 1. Examples:
-Lesson 1, Day 1: “Johnny” struggled with the vowel sounds of short “i” and short “e”. We will review Lesson 1 tomorrow.
-Lesson 1, Day 2: We reviewed one example each of short “a”, “o” and “u”. We practiced all examples with short “I” and “e”. Johnny mastered this lesson today! I’m so proud of him. Tomorrow we’ll begin Lesson 2.
-Lesson 2, Day 3: Johnny just zipped through this lesson! He’s truly beginning to hear the 2 individual sounds in the real and the nonsense words! He’s having fun learning! He’s ready to move on to Lesson 2A!
-Lesson 2A, Day 4: It took Johnny a little bit longer to catch on to comparing two words – which sounds were the same in the two example words or which sounds were different. After he caught on, we did 2 more example problems. Tomorrow we’ll do more.
-Lesson 2A, Day 5: After a review of two example pairs of words, Johnny caught on quickly as to how to show me with colors if the sounds were the same in the two words or if the sounds were different in the two words. He was so excited about his learning! We did several more pairs of words. He’s ready for the challenge tomorrow of comparing the sounds in 3 words! Cool!
-Lesson 2B, Day 6: Johnny was a little hesitant to try 3 words, but he did beautifully! I praised him for his success. We celebrated together with some hot chocolate and cookies! He’s ready for the assessment tomorrow.
-Lesson 2C, Day 7: Johnny loved the assessment today and was totally successful! He especially loved choosing his own colors!
Continue in this manner for at least 8 weeks to show us your data if you want a refund.
· Submit colored copies of completed practice pages for Parts 3 –14 (whichever part(s) your child is working on).
